Frequently asked questions about our Picton accommodation

If you have any questions about the Jasmine Court motel in Picton, please read through the questions below, or get in touch to talk to us directly.

Q: How far is Jasmine Court from airports, ferry, train and bus terminals?
A: We are 1.5km from the Interislander ferry, bus and train terminals; a relatively easy 10 min walk. The Bluebridge Ferry terminal is approximately 2km from us and there is a free bus which will bring you into the town centre. From there we are approx 3-5 minutes walk. Taxi shuttle transport can be arranged, and will cost around $12-$15.
Sounds Air also have a free shuttle which will deliver you to our door. Blenheim Airport is 35km from Picton. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a taxi shuttle. The cost is approx $65-75. Sorry, we do not offer a free shuttle service.

Q: How close is Jasmine Court to the town centre?
A: Fresh Choice Supermarket, banks and the post office are just across the road, and cafes, restaurants, shops and the waterfront are five minutes walk.

Q: Do your rooms have harbour views?
A: We have three first floor rooms that have ‘limited’ views of the harbour.
These are the Luxury Spa rooms. Other rooms have no water views but we are just a short walk away from the sea.

Q: Do you offer vehicle storage?
A: This is subject to availability. In the peak period, e.g. Oct – April, space is limited and we cannot guarantee storage facilities. During off-peak times there is usually
no problem to leave a vehicle if walking the Queen Charlotte Track or taking a short trip to Wellington. Alternatively, there is a public car park at the Queen Charlotte Track departure wharf at the bottom of the street. A daily fee of $3 applies. There is also short-term parking available at the ferry terminal. Contact Interislander for details.


Q: Can you store excess luggage?
A: Yes, we are happy to store excess luggage for short periods free of charge.


Q: What extra facilities are offered at Jasmine Court?
A: We have a BBQ,  2 mountain bikes and 2 sets of golf clubs free for guests to use. Sorry, there is no pool or restaurant on site.
